Are there any Stage IV Colon Cancer Survirors that can help me and give me advise??? ?

I was diagnosed with Stage III Colon Cancer in 2008. I did my 6 mnth chemo therapy. At my first check up with my oncologist it was discovered that my cancer was still there and had spread to different organs also called metastatic cancer. Im currently trying to find out different options and want to hear from those that are currently going through this same situation. Im still waiting to hear from the doctors to see what my options will be. Im looking to hear from somone, am I alone on this ???? Please help me get through this !!!

My wife has cancer, and it seems that when cancer is in your life you talk about it. So, I was talking to somebody and he said he had stage 4 colon cancer. The doctor’s gave him 18 months to live.

But he is also undergoing a “Clinical Study” that he is hoping will give him a better chance of surviving it longer. He had a new born baby with him and says that child is what makes him live each and every day. He says that he does not stress over the small stuff anymore. He says most everything is “small stuff”.

He believes in God and is thankful for every minute he lives. So, I would check with your oncologist to find out if there are any clinical studies that you can apply for. Good luck,
